Tires are the only part of your vehicle that touches the road, and they wear unevenly by design: the driven wheels and the steering wheels do different jobs. Rotating them on schedule spreads that wear across all four, which is the single cheapest way to extend the life of a set.
Ontario's seasonal swap makes this easy to build into a routine. Twice a year the wheels are off the vehicle anyway, which is the natural moment to check tread depth, inspect for sidewall damage and correct pressures — and to look at the brakes while everything is exposed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should tires be rotated?
Roughly every 10,000 km, which for most drivers lines up with an oil change. If you run separate winter and summer sets, the seasonal changeover doubles as a rotation and that is usually sufficient.
Can a punctured tire be repaired?
It depends where the puncture is. A clean puncture in the central tread area can normally be plugged and patched from the inside. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder cannot be repaired safely at any price, and we will tell you straight if that is what we find.
When should I put winter tires on?
Once daytime temperatures sit consistently below about 7°C — usually late October or early November in Toronto. Winter tires are about rubber compound as much as tread pattern, and they outperform all-seasons in the cold well before there is any snow on the ground.
